La Boia Teatre is based on the transformation of the space we are surrounded by, through the visual and the colours.

This is why we try to transfer this concept in our shows and The most beautiful journey of the world is an obvious example.

Every part of the set, elements of the scenography and puppets are handmade built and planned so the audience, both adult and child, can value the visual art in all their dimensions.

This is why we always allow all children get close to the puppets and take pictures with them. Same thing happens with the set, where the audience is invited to approach and look closely the artisanal detail that has every corner. We put special emphasis in the artisanal aspect because it is a very important concept for La Boia Teatre.

The set is planned as a magical box from where incredible folded handmade sets appear and where every texture is carefully designed and chosen for the set where it is found. All scenography has a common material, the wood, which can be found during all the show in different ways, as an element of the scenography or as a 2D puppet.

The same thing happens with the puppets, where the common material is the papier mâché. All the heads are built with that material.

The puppets are another important artisanal element. All of them have been imagined as if a child would have built them. This is why they have this aesthetic. The visual, the colours, the material are some other elements that have a very important role within the story of The most beautiful journey of the world, by La Boia Teatre.
